Has many of the features you'd expect from a larger backpacking bag. My 8 year old son who's about 70 pounds soaking wet and like 4' tall was able to barely wear this bag (a bit large on him).It held quite a bit of gear but I still carried about 20% of his stuff because it's difficult to fit everything you'd need for 2-3 days in the wilderness in the space provided by the bag.Overall I was very pleased. Bag still looks new after its first trip. I'm sure we'll be using it again and again.This is going to work for the trip out west. The intent was a pack that would fit under the seat but had plenty of pockets and ability to stuff it full. I only wish the red was the same price as the orange. Bought orange because it was the same thing and a little cheaper. However, it will stand out at the airport, that's for sure.Took this on a ten day hike, my companions had premium hiking bags at several times the cost. This bag got me through just fine and even had features there bags lacked.Just rode my bike to the store and bought 50 dollars in groceries. Used the 2 main storage pockets and everything fit. That's awesome. Well made and with plenty of storage spacesI am surprised and pleased at the quality of this bag. I took forever perusing backpacks on Amazon because it was hard to figure out what was decent quality and what was poorly made. It's hard to tell from pictures sometimes. I liked that this had a lot of storage pockets and I wanted the waist buckles (which also have storage pockets). I wanted to use this with my bike, no heavy duty hiking or camping, and for that purpose it is perfect. Really happy with my purchase.Excellent value for the money. Plenty of useable pockets, great smooth action on zippers, comfortable to carry. Aesthetically it's exactly as pictured. Suitable for my needs and would likely hold up well to a single day hike type outing.First impression in the context of casual use is 5 stars, though I have concerns about long-term performance, particularly for more hard-wearing applications like camping or multi-day hikes. Some aspects of it feel a little flimsy and I would not be surprised to have issues with material holding up with hard use.
