Its light weight and has a frame to it so it keeps your back nice and cool. Fits everything you need for a day hike plus some. The straps are comfortable and keep the weight off your shoulders. The quality doesn't seem bad and the stitching is solid. Overall a perfect dayhike bag.Sturdy, handy features, love the color. Has two bottle holders, which I was concerned would be small but are big enough for my 40oz insulated water bottle, and have adjustable straps that go around the bottle pockets to keep them snug. Has adjustable hiking pole straps (I hate when poles are loose and get out of place), waist straps, and the chest straps are adjustable plus have a small piece of elastic to increase comfort and custom fit (a nice surprise!). There’s an outer zipper pocket for quick access to smaller items. Larger interior has a hidden zipper pocket (I always put my keys in this pocket so it was a must in a pack for me), plus water bladder sleeve. Mesh frame on back holds pack away from the body and increases airflow to decrease sweating. I wasn’t familiar with this brand but the bag has a quality feel to it, looks nice, and is a great value for the price!I love to hike and forage and I needed a pack that was larger than the regular packs that you get for water bladders but I didn't need something that holds a ton of stuff either. This is the "happy medium" that I was looking for. A pack that I can put all my hiking and/or foraging items in, that is sturdy and holds my water bladder as well, AND keeps the pack off my back so I can stay cooler. (As a post-menopausal women, this is important!) I appreciate the external zippered pocket and the internal small pouch as we all have our devices and wallets and stuff that we need to have handy.So far, I'm liking it. As I put it to more use I will return to update if I have any complaints or compliments.
