I’ve spent weeks looking for the perfect travel bag that can hold a significant amount, not look like a baby bag, and is beautifully made with high quality materials. I’ve looked at every travel theft proof bag available and landed with this one. I spent 3 weeks in Sicily walking everywhere and this worked really well.Beautiful leather with brass hardware. It can be a backpack or over shoulder. Very easy to navigate and keep under your arm. The straps never hurt my back. Zippers are heavy which is good because I’m hard on a zipper especially when I need something in my bag quickly. Bag has 2 large compartments which holds more than I imagined. Large RFID wallet, 2 glasses hard cases, brush, comb, mirror, multiple chapstick and lipsticks, passport, small rain poncho, meds, small water bottle, bus and train tickets and Kleenex because most European toilets lacked any toilet paper…. and iPhone. Note: IPhone won’t fit on the outside pocket. Some places that was a problem because it was harder to access my phone.When the straps are in backpack style, the zippers are on top and the straps cross-cross over the zips. Makes it theft proof and works well. I felt completely safe. One difficulty was getting into the purse when the straps are in constant cross-cross - was inconvenient at times and the straps can get tangled in your hands.Note on daily travel: With any bag - only take in your purse what you need for the day. Anything else can give you shoulder and back pain. You don’t need that much unless you’re carrying children with you.I’m happy with this purchase! Very sturdy and doesn’t look touristy. It’s become one of my favorite everyday bags.
