I bought this for a day pack and didn't want to drop a ton of money since I already have a nice osprey for longer backpacking trips. This bag has a ton of nice features like a rain cover, hip belt with pockets, interal and external pockets, pole carriers etc. It seemed to have the most for the best price. My only complaint is the strap adjustment- first of all they are very hard to pull the straps to adjust unlike more expensive bags. I also have to tighten these straps almost all the way so there's a lot of excess strap material that just hangs which is annoying. It's not a deal breaker and I may just make some alterations to take off the extra material. Other than that I think this bag will get a lot of use and I'm overall pleased with it so far!I got this backpack for a short trip to Catalina. It mainly held drinks, snacks, and jackets. It was comfortable and I was happy with it. It has a good assortment of pockets and the zippers are a good quality. I was pleased with the assortment of colors available as well. I will definitely take this hiking.I just returned from a week-long trip to Oregon, where I spent my days hiking with this backpack (which is what I purchased it for). I bought three total beforehand, with this one being the winner largely due a surprising amount of adjustable straps to meet my preferences. I'm short - 5'3" and like to wear my pack higher and tighter to take stress off my lower back, but this had more customization options than I think I've ever seen. It was very comfortable for hour of wear at a time.In addition, the pockets are thoughtfully placed - I even utilized the waist strap pocket on several hikes to store my portable phone charger while connecting it to my phone in my pants pocket. I appreciate the rain cover option as well, though I didn't use it. I got poured on throughout several hikes (Oregon in fall...), but everything inside stayed perfectly dry without the rain cover. To those who say it leaked, I find that having zipper pulls NOT at the top of the bag is helpful (otherwise you're creating a little gap for water to get in - instead, close the bag at the lower side). This pack is big but not overwhelming on my smaller frame, and it held a ton (DLSR camera with extra lenses, several extra layers of clothes, poles, snacks, water bottle, etc). This will be my go-to backpack for many years to come.I think if you're looking for something simple for one day trips (or even two) (if your gear is lightweight) this could work....but for longer days or if you want certain carry-on dimensions to fit? This could be too small. I deliver on bike and I would say this is good for a camp night or two but not for loading anything bigger inside or strapped to the outside than the sizes it can handle. It's just not that kind of durability or size...but it's a very nice extra pack or go too quick backpack to have, and you can fold it into a smaller size if needed and it's fairly ok in lite drizzle without the raincoat, which gratefully it comes with.As other reviewers mention, it ships folded in half. You will never get the back to sit right. It's an okay pack but the crease destroys the comfort and form of the backpack permanently. Inexplicable really.I was looking for a reasonably priced backpack that would carry a hydration bladder and everything else I needed for an all day hike in the white mountains, something bigger than 20L but less than 40L. It took hours to find but was worth it. Love that it also has both chest & waist straps, place to hold poles and a bag hidden in the bottom to cover it if it rains, very well designed! I wore it for close to 10 hours and had no issues with my back. Only used it that one time so far, so can’t speak of durability, but so far I am very happy with it!!Me encanto es super cómoda, perfecta para cuando tengo que ir a sitios montañosos y me toque llevar la laptop, el especio es perfecto para que ella vaya segura, y caben muchas cosas, aparte que poder ajustarla a la cintura y al pecho ayuda mucho con el peso y comodidad. Hice una excelente inversión, cuando me toque cambiar la mochila, grande pensare en MONTAINTOPGreat pack for highschool. Fits everything well, and my 16 year old son has yet to destroy it! He uses it everyday walking back and forth to school and around campus. Nicely made. Substantial zippers and the inside pockets are well laid out. Plenty of space for his laptop, a few notebooks, lunch and some other odds and ends.Rapport qualité prix, aussi bien que des grandes marques qui coutent 3 fois le prix ! Pour des randonnées d'une journée, l'espace de 35 litres avec tous les compartiments et les attaches pour les bâtons, la sortie pour le tuyau du sac à eau et les poches qui ferment avec fermeture éclair. Je lui donne un 10/10 vu le prix. J'en ai même acheté un à ma conjointe !Unexpected quality product for the price a well made product
