Description

Simpler is often better, and if you prefer going light and moving fast in the woods, mountains and beyond, the Tempest 30 is the pack for you. 30L of capacity is perfect for committing day hikes and lightweight overnight trips. Ventilated and comfortable, the women's specific BioStretch harness and continuous wrap hipbelt combine to create an incredibly stable carrying system that hugs your body so you can stay balanced on the trail, ridge or peak. We scratched our heads and updated our AirScape backpanel to use less material and glue while making it more breathable to keep you cool on hot days. When uphills turn technical, our Stow-on-the-Go trekking pole carry system keeps your hands free for upward movement. Zippered hipbelts, side stretch mesh pockets with dual access, a harness pocket and top-lid storage provide all the organization you need. The Tempest series is backed by Osprey's All Mighty Guarantee, forever.

Features

    Top-loader access to main compartment

External hydration sleeve accommodates up to a 3L reservoir (sold separately)

Adjustable shoulder harness to dial in perfect fit

Stretch mesh pockets on both sides of pack provide convenient storage for bottles and smaller items.

Two zippered hipbelt pockets and LidLock helmet attachment

Stow-On-The-Go Trekking pole attachment allows you to quickly attach and carry trekking poles while wearing the pack.

Bought this pack for my girlfriend. Once it arrived she immediately began to set it up and loaded up a huge pile of gear. Let me tell you that this bag can hold everything. Once the pile of gear was gone from the floor she threw the bag on her back and began to do practice laps throughout the house and was jumping and bending and everything else you could possibly do on a hike. There was still plenty of room left for storage and all the weight looked well balanced. Will update if this bag ends up being anything less than 5 stars.I’ve been coveting this pack for a while and I was not disappointed when it came. It’s light weight, comfortable and full of smart feature good for anything from backpacking to rock climbing to daily use and everything in between. And it’s osprey so you know it’s good quality. Just buy the pack already you won’t regret itThe best day pack ever!!! So lightweight and breathable. Sits so comfy on your back! Highly recommend!!!I absolutely love this backpack! I am very thankful I made the investment for a good pack! It is lightweight, comfortable and exactly what I wanted! I highly recommend :)Used it for a one day backpack trip to a hiking cabin, so didn't need to bring a tent or pad. Was perfect for this. I have a huge sleeping bag and am looking for a more compact one - once I get one, I feel I could easily add a tiny tent and pad. Probably too small for more than one night though. Sm/med fit me great - 5'4", 140 lbs.I only buy Osprey backpacks as i love how they are set up and the quality is high. I bought this bag for day hikes and was very happy. When it comes to the design of this bag though I wish it had a built in rain cover and a side or bottom zip to get into the bag a different way. It can be annoying at times having to always go in from the top.Great backpack! Super lightweight and don't feel heavy to carry even when I filled it up. Best thing is that I don't get to warm on my back despite warm summer days :)I tried a couple packs and settled on this one for my recent rim to rim hike of the grand canyon. It held everything I needed for 2 nights at phantom ranch and 5 liters of water comfortably. My only complaint is that the waisted strap is narrow. I intend to buy or make so.e sort of a pad for it.I like this backpack because it’s durable and water resistant. I went around Edinburg with this bag and it was raining yet my things inside were still dry. I also love the color since it stands out among other luggages. Plus it’s convenient to be carried at the back, the straps stay in place on the shoulder. One downside though is the opening which is a bit narrow. It’s difficult to get things at the bottom of the bag you have to unpack everything. But overall I love this better than my North face bag.My second Osprey pack, first was a Talon 33. This fits better even though I'm tall. Good options for adjustments, belt pockets very useful. Even fairly well loaded for a full day out, no trouble to carry as the load sits perfectly on my back. Could cope with overnight trip (not with a tent), though I haven't used it for that yet. I hope it lasts as long as my Talon which has come with me on Coast to Coast, Pennine Way, Tour de Mont Blanc and numerous day trips before finally I accepted it was beyond repair. Highly recommended. On of my favourite purchases of the year. Used a friends whilst climbing, bought my own for doing the three peaks. A great size for the day, super comfy as they are male/female specific. Great little additions in thee design such as a holder for walking sticks when they're not in use. Great to have thee water carrier sitting away from your body too so you're not drinking 30 degree water to refresh! This will be used for all my adventures and day to day now.Bought for a 12 hour hike.Used as hand luggage due to the way it can be pulled up with the straps to a very small size then opened back out to fit laptop bag and coat in it. Managed a three day work trip in Europe, planes, trains and walking. It has all the quality you expect from osprey and adjustable back length, so perfect fit is a given.Looks good, works well. It is very comfortable. Reasonably water proof. The main gripe and it's rather an important one. The push together clips and all the fastenings are far to small. Cannot use with gloves on. Gloves off, then wet frozen fingers!
