It's slim as heck. It holds what I need it to hold and leaves no room for me to slowly accrue extra cruft in my bag, keeping my risk of back strain lower and making me take up significantly less space on public transit without requiring me to remove it and place it on the (often sticky) floor. So far it's been pretty sturdy. I am impressed with the little pleather tabs at each end of the zippered front pocket -- it makes it a heck of a lot easier to zip (just pull the zipper while holding the tab on the side opposite the direction you are zipping). I have been looking for a slim backpack just like this one and I am so glad I found this one.It holds my 15" MacBook Pro, two 6x8 notebooks, a kindle and a small folded towel in the main pocket, and in the front pocket I managed to fit: MacBook Pro power brick (with extended cable), a portable wireless mouse, a 30W phone charger, a folding knife, a USB cable, a wrist brace, a travel Tylenol bottle, a pen, a pencil, a thunderbolt Ethernet adapter, a pocket pack of tissues, a spool of dental floss, and a wired phone headset, with a little bit of wiggle room.
